Not only is this great exer- cise but a fun way to meet new friends. No partners necessary and all levels welcome. FREE. PICKLE BALL Wednesdays 9:00 am - 11:00 pm Pickle ball is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong, with a smaller court, bigger paddle than ping pong and a slower moving ball. It is less strenuous than tennis but just as much fun.This is a great way to get some exercise, meet some new friends, and most of all, have a great time. Pickle ball is also played at Mike Fox Park on Mondays and Fridays, 9:30 - 11:30 am. FREE CRIBBAGE Fridays 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm Join a relaxed game of cribbage every Friday. Brush up or learn to play in a friendly, social atmo- sphere. FREE. SIXTEEN QI-GONG EXERCISES FOR STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY Wednesdays, 1:30 - 2:30 pm A little more challenging than our regular Qi-Gong class. GENTLE YOGA Fridays, 10:00 - 11:30 am This class is designed to give a bit more of a work- out than our Monday and Wednesday class. CREATIVE WRIT- ING FOR FUN (45 years & up) Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 pm Learn how to make creative writing easy and enjoyable in this friendly and supportive class. Stories, poetry, journaling, memoirs.Taught by Joyce Keller M.S. Suggested Donation: City Residents $4.00 Non-City Residents $4.25 EXERCISE CLASS Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11:00 - 11:30 am Ongoing gentle exercise perfect for older adults wanting to increase circulation and flexibili- ty. Friday's class has an extended (optional) one half hour of resistance and core exercises for those who want a bit more of a workout. Suggested Donation: City Residents $1.00, Non-City Residents $1.25 GENTLE YOGA Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 10:00 - 11:30 am Gentle stretching and breathing relax the body and build strength.The newly added Friday class (45 yrs and up) is designed for the student who wants a bit more challenge.
