He has worked for newspapers off and on since high school, and was a member of the Daily News staff in the late '90s. He has been teaching Theater, Television and Film courses at Shasta College since 1995. Kathy Garcia grew up in Tehama County and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Sacramento. She is committed to Tehama County's future through involvement in higher education initiatives, community development efforts and creative ways to showcase the many destination jewels it has to offer. A graduate of San Francisco State and Tulane universities, she works in youth development and as a freelance writer. If she's not working on her home in Red Bluff, she's out exploring the world. Melissa Mendonca Julie Zeeb is a Northern California native who loves writing, photography and reading good books. Born and raised in Redding, she moved to Red Bluff in 2009 and is a former reporter for the Red Bluff Daily News. She was recently hired to work as a Park Aide at the William B.
