Boulder Highway, Henderson, 566-1570 > MEXICAN SERENADE Jaime Camil is a lovestruck mariachi in Pulling Strings. TX, VS Runner Runner AABCC Justin Timberlake, Gemma Arterton, Ben Affleck. Directed by Brad Furman. 91 minutes. Rated R. See review Page 41. Theaters: AL, BS, CAN, CH, COL, DI, FH, GVL, ORL, PAL, RP, RR, SC, SF, SHO, SP, SS, TS, TX NOW PLAYING 2 Guns AABCC Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, Paula Patton. Directed by Baltasar Kormakur. 109 minutes. Rated R. 2 Guns follows two undercover government agents who team up to rob a bank and end up chased by a competing lineup of bad guys. It's a good thing that Washington and Wahlberg make for such an entertaining pair, because otherwise the movie is pretty much a mess. –JB Theaters: DI, ORL, SC little more than a superficial resemblance to Austen's actual work. Russell can be charming, but Austenland wallows in lame slapstick and lazy jokes. –JB Theaters: SC Baggage Claim ABCCC Paula Patton, Derek Luke, Jill Scott. Directed by David E. Talbert. 96 minutes. Rated PG-13. A flight attendant (Patton) decides she has 30 days to land a husband, and revisits her exes in hopes of finding the one. Obviously her Mr. Right (actually named Mr. Wright) is her best friend (Luke), but the movie lumbers through lame comedy, bland dialogue and obvious, prefab plotting to get there. –JB Theaters: AL, BS, CAN, CH, DI, FH, GVL, GVR, ORL, PAL, RP, RR, SC, SF, SP, SS, TS, TX quent. –JB Theaters: BS, COL, ORL, SC, SF, SP, SS, TS Blue Jasmine AAACC Cate Blanchett, Sally Hawkins, Alec Baldwin. Directed by Woody Allen. 98 minutes. Rated PG-13. Blanchett's showy performance in the title role is the highlight of Allen's latest, about a scandal-ruined widow who moves in with her working-class sister (Hawkins) and tries to start her life anew. It's a loose riff on A Streetcar Named Desire, but Tennessee Williams can rest easy. –MD Theaters: COL, VS Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 AAACC Voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Will Forte. Directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. 95 minutes. Rated PG. The machine that created food weather has now created an entire island of food animals, and goofy inventor Flint Lockwood returns to investigate. Although not as funny or clever as the first movie, Cloudy 2 is still full of silly food-related puns and imaginative creatures, and it works well as family entertainment. –JB Theaters: AL, CAN, CH, COL, DI, FH, GVL, ORL, PAL, RP, RR, SF, SP, SS, ST, TS, TX, VS Austenland AACCC Keri Russell, JJ Feild, Bret McKenzie. Directed by Jerusha Hess. 97 minutes. Rated PG-13. Jane Austen devotee Jane Hayes (Russell) makes a pilgrimage to the title location allegedly to experience firsthand the world depicted in her favorite author's novels, but there's Battle of the Year ACCCC Josh Holloway, Josh Peck, Chris Brown. Directed by Benson Lee. 109 minutes. Rated PG-13. The filmmakers apply every cliché of the underdog sports movie to the story of a team of American hip-hop dancers preparing for an international tournament. With terrible dialogue, flat performances and a dull, predictable narrative, all the movie has going for it are its dance scenes, which are far too infre- (COL) REGAL COLONNADE 8880 S.
