Jackson Sr., 67, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Bishop Jackson was a native of Cleveland County. He was born July 27, 1955. He was the son of the late Broadus Jackson, Sr. and Callie Elizabeth Martin Jackson. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his brother, Bobby Eugene Jackson, mother-in-law Louise Dover, sister-in- law Katheryn Jackson, and brother-in-law Ronald Dover. Bishop Jackson is survived by his wife, Pastor Teresa Dover Jackson; daugh- ter, Charity Nicole Jackson Nolen and husband Alex; son, Brady Lee Jackson, Jr. and wife, Teresa Lynn; brother, Broadus Jackson, Jr. and wife, Judy; sister- in-law, Kimberly Smith and husband, Jamey, Sr.; seven grandchildren; and great grandchildren. She was born on March 22, 1948, in Mooresboro, NC, to Lawrence and Jonnie Bridges. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ronnie Kale of the home; daughters, Sharon Bradshaw and husband, Shaun of Greensboro and Tiffany Piercy of Shelby; sons, Ryan Kale and wife, Leslie and Jonathan Kale and wife, Lisa, both of Boiling Springs; sisters, Jackie McSwain and hus- band, Eddie of Charleston, SC and Libby Glenn and husband, Ford of Shelby; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held January 29, 2023 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Tench officiating. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Nellie Mae Thrift, Viola M. Kilgore, Charlie Melvin Ellison, James Edward Ellison, Ruth Janet Cook; two step daugh- ters: Janey Lou Lowery and Linda Lee Lowery; an infant son, Alvin Thomas Grant; a grandson; and first husband, James Thomas Grant. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Rev. Julius R. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph Fitzgerald and two children, Karen L Gozalez (Ruben) and Gwen M. Galli (Glen) as well as two grandsons.
