Between 1988 and 2000, she attended workshops at Castle Hill Center for the Arts in Truro, Mass., and at the Provincetown (Mass) Art Association with Cape and visiting artists. With a background in watercolor, she also uses acrylics and often incorporates Asian papers into her work. Recent solo exhibits include a May 2013 show at the Autumn Café in Oneonta, "The Beauty of Lake Atitlan" at the Community Arts Network of Oneonta (formerly UCCCA) in Oneonta in 2012, and "New Ground" at the Cooperstown Art Association in 2006. She also has a piece in Cooperstown Art Association's annual "Essential Art" regional juried exhibit, which opened May 3, and will be included in their annual miniature invitational exhibit, "Postcards From Cooperstown," from June 7 through July 5. Stow will be an exhibitor at the Stagecoach Run Arts festival July 6 and 7 in Treadwell. Stow sells her originals, cards and prints at the Oneonta Artisan Guild and the Catskill Artisan Guild of Margaretville, and sells cards at the Green Earth Market in Oneonta.
