At summer's Festivals Media is taking over Hunter Mountain the following weekend with an all-country lineup for the inaugural Taste of Country Music Festival. THE LINEUP: Headliners include Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson & Family and Trace Adkins, with performances by Billy Currington, Hunter Hayes and Montgomery Gentry. tunes. THE LINEUP: Dwight Yoakam, the Manhattan Transfer and The Doobie Brothers kick off the series, which also features Ben Vereen, comedian Rita Rudner, and a rock symphony featuring the music of Pink Floyd. THE DEETS: Ticket prices start at $31 for lawn seating for most shows, with premium seats ranging from $60-$70. Tickets, info at belleayremusic.org. cAtsKILL cHILL Sept. 6-8, Camp Minglewood, Hancock THE SKINNY: Now in its fourth year, this feelgood festival features on-site camping in cabins complete with bunk beds and showers, an open mic stage for festivalgoers to rock out, free yoga classes on the weekend, a drum circle and a communal bonfire each night. THE LINEUP: The Meter Men featuring Zigaboo Modeliste, and Leo Nocentelli and George Porter, Jr. with special guest Page McConnell, will join Lotus, Galactic, Conspirator, Lettuce and Tea Leaf Green, along with regional favorites Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, Dopapod, Jimkata, and Capital Zen.
