Brylee Walker and Lillian Mann combined for an 8 -3 win in the num- ber one singles match with the Raiders, and Amelia Ad- ams and Emily McGillem de- feated Southridge 8 -2 in the number two doubles match. Alyssa McCutchan lost in number one singles 8 -1, Lain- ey Leighty fell 8 -3 in number two singles and Hattie Yager was bettered 8 -3 in the num- ber three singles contest. Brena Potts and Hattie Yager teamed for an 8 -0 win in reserve, as did the team of Alyssa McCutchan and Lainey Leighty, plus dou- bles team Amelia Adams and Emily McGillem. Elle Readle and Calleigh Wibbeler fell 8 - 4, Kelsea Query and Eibhlin Teague lost 8 -7, and Brylee Walker and Lillian Mann lost by 6 -2. and throwing events, which is great to see. "We are getting ready to start the middle part of our season, where we begin to have some invitationals. Ev- eryone is doing a great job in practice, and really work- ing hard and developing. We know with our smaller overall team numbers on both teams, it will limit how we finish as a team in a lot of meets, but we have a lot of people improv- ing their performances each meet, which is what we like to see." No one on either team cleared a height for the high jump, so there were only 15 events for the girls. Duo wins 63 COVID Tourney Thursday's 63 COVID bass tourney, sponsored by Brauneckers Baits, held at Dog Wood Lake in Glendale, was a win for Beau Dillon and Ashton Evans, who teamed for 8.69 pounds and a big bass catch of 2.63 pounds. Alan Faith and Kenny Os- gatharp took second, John Gayhart and Cody Ken- dall got third, and Lou Karsner and Keith Brock finished fourth.
