The tree is filled with kindnesses from the students. Preschoolers Ellie King, Connor Hook and Reid McCandless dress as community heroes for Ameri- can Education Week. The theme was "We're All In This Together." Essential workers were represented on American Education Week dress-up day by Kole Aydelott, Abigail Tyring, Isabell Tyring and Wy- att Knight. Arianna Richardson is the "I" in KIND. Kutter Sorensen works on his thankful turkey in Mrs. Stoll's classroom. Olive Woolsey colors her turkey. The kindergarten students drew what they were thankful for on their turkey feathers. Mrs. Weisman's Science classes had a choice on how to do their Solar System projects. These stu- dents in Group A chose a physical model. First Grading Period AR Goal Earners for Group A celebrated their reading success with a movie in the auditorium, a pop socket, thanks to Mrs. Rus- sell, a drink and candy. The Group A top AR Readers were Jaelyn Hall, from Mrs. Waddell's room, with 206 percent of her goal, and Riley Perry, from Mrs. Cherry's room, with 151 percent of his goal. In addition to what all AR goal earners received, the top homeroom readers got a Youth First T-shirt, thanks to Mrs. Russell. Ms. Angie Baker's seventh grade science classes talked about how cranberries are harvested. Students had one hundred dried cranberries and one hundred toothpicks to build towers. Caroline McDivitt and Emily Green show their cranberry tow- er creation.
