It is hard to believe we are in the second half of the year already. It is whiz- zing by us fast. Grab onto it and enjoy life .. and your summer. This month's feature interview is with Migguel Anggelo. Migguel is breaking barriers on the Ameri- can stage, crea ng unique works that are reflec ve of the mul - cultural, mul -lingual, changing demographics of our country and mes. The Brooklyn based, Venezuelan born ar st began his career at 13 as Pinocchio in a South Ameri- can touring produc on of the Broadway musical. He trained for a dozen years in classical ballet, studied voice at the Conservato- ry of Music in Cologne, Germany, has wri en music throughout all of his journeys as an immigrant in several countries, and has re- leased two albums, the most re cent being La Casa Azul. I know you will enjoy Migguel's inter- view. Also in this issue is the regular columns you have come to en- joy and love, such as Lee Lynch's "Amazon Trail," Tony Guadag- nino's "Gay Icons" colum, as well as Joey Amato's "Pride Jour- neys." There are also a number of unique ar cles included in this month's issue. You will also no ce a lot of pro- mos for a book called, "Unre- dacted." Well, the reason is, that it is MY book. It is my first one, and I am very proud and exci ng to have debuted it on Amazon. So being that Diversity Rules is my magazine, I took the liberty of u lizing some space to promote my first literary work. :-) I hope you had a great pride sea- aon, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
