Otwell Miller fifth graders studied a variety of 3 dimensional geometric shapes. They studied length, width and height of regularly shaped for- mulas and how to use the formulas. Then, they described their geomet- ric shapes in their journals, using descriptive words and writing skills. These fourth graders Arianna Barclay, Ethan Nelson, Dracaul Fessler and Katelyn Shelton find the best angle to view outer space and the planets through their virtual reality glasses. Students studied the character- istics of 3 dimensional geometric objects, then wrote about them in their journals. They also drew pic- tures of their geometric objects.
