Nov. 6 through Nov. 29 Aggregate – 8 Sculptors / Student Gallery exhibit Where: Wisconsin Art Gallery, Concordia University Wisconsin, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, Mequon "Aggregate – 8 Sculptors" will feature sculpture work of eight artists, Charles Kraus, Denise Schanz, Frankie Flood, Teresa Lind, John Balsley, Lynda Sommers, Peter Beck and Mark Dziewior, and is dedicated to the memory of fellow sculptor George Kubiayk. The "Student Gallery Show" features the paintings of John Kowalczyk, as well as Limelight 14, another new gallery in 2018 that limits artists to 14 frames in telling their story. Nov. 6 through Dec. 30 One-man exhibit – William Davis Time: Opening reception 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 Where: Frank L. Weyenberg Library, 11345 N. Cedarburg Road, Mequon The exhibit will feature a number of the artist's watercolor paintings and drawings, past and current work. Davis is a member of the League of Milwaukee Artists, Watercolor Society of Wisconsin, Cedarburg Artists Guild and Mequon Thiensville Senior Art League and has shown in numerous exhibitions in Southeastern Wisconsin. Tuesday, Nov. 6, Thursday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 17 Flu Shot Clinics Time: Nov. 6 and Nov. 15, 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Nov. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Where: Ascension Columbia St. Mary's at Cedar Mills, N143 W6515 Pioneer Road, Cedarburg Flu season has begun, and while the severity of the influenza virus varies from year to year, experts suggest flu shots and other preventative measures help minimize widespread infection. To help prevent the flu, experts at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's recommend getting the flu shot early in the season since the vaccination takes approximately two weeks to fully protect against the virus. Main St., Saukville Children and their caregivers are invited to enjoy a weekly storytime filled with rhymes, songs, dancing and, of course, stories, especially designed for children ages 2 through 4 years old. Cedarburg Road, Mequon This lecture series focuses on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Cicero, Augustine of Hippo, John Locke and Albert Camus were writing in relation to their main ideas. November's session will focus on Camus. The lecture series is recommended for adults and high school students. There will be time for questions and answers.
