The Winslow Lions served lunch on Saturday, including hamburgers, hot dogs and pulled pork sand- wiches. The Winslow Masonic Lodge sold ice cream throughout the day. The Spurgeon Festival crowd took to the shelters near the food and the entertainment while avoiding the unusually high afternoon heat for October 6. The Woodsboro Band performed on Saturday at this year's Spurgeon Festival, along with others, includ- ing Matt Sullivan, Dustin Arnold, Tim Gold, Carrie Thorne, Rodney Watts and Eric Heaton.
