Mother Evelyn (Blunt) is preg- nant with the couple's fourth child, and husband Lee (Kra- sinski) desperately tries to keep his family alive, making sure they keep silent during all of their day-to-day activi- ties. With a baby on the way, however, the pain of child- birth and an infant's cries are guaranteed to attract the deadly and hungry creatures. Director: John Krasinski. He escapes, but his passenger, political aide Mary Jo Kopechne (Mara), does not, setting in motion a huge political scandal that's made even worse when Ken- nedy doesn't immediately re- port the accident and drown- ing to the police. As the scan- dal intensifies, his actions in- creasingly draw the ire of his father, Joseph Sr. (Dern), and cousin Joe Gargan (Helms). Based on true events. Director: John Curran. Lean on Pete A young man named Charley (Plummer), who lives with his estranged father (Fimmel), gets a summer job caring for the horses of an esteemed horse trainer (Buscemi) and forms a bond with the race- horse Lean on Pete. When he learns that Lean on Pete's rac- ing days are nearly finished and that the animal will be put down once it's retired, Charley desperately tries to convince the trainer to spare the animal. When his pleas for mercy go unheard, he takes the horse and goes on the run across the country, leaving his old life behind and searching for a new home for himself and the very special horse.
