It's hard to believe that we are in the midst of summer already! e hot weather has arrived and the July issue is as hot as the weather outside! is month's feature is in keep- ing with the "Me Too" Movement now spreading across the nation. Sexual assualt has become a hot topic of discussion with many vic- tims coming forward telling their stories of abuse that have been kept secret for many years. Most stories of sexual assault are from women. Very rarely do we hear those of men who have been sexually assaulted. is month's feature is Ron Blake, who was the victim of a sexual assault by 3 men while he was sleeping and sick. To add insult to injury, the police did not take him serious. ey wrote it off to 4 gay men hav- ing some sexual fun. It was the furthest thing from the truth. In his interview, Ron speaks of the incident, and how he felt after- wards. He also was in the depths of depression because of the inci- dent. One night things changed while he was watching the Steven Colbert Show. He began to laugh. Ever since that moment, he has used his incident as am empowering one to propel him forward to tell his story and to become a guest on the Ste- ven Colbert Show! We certainly wish him luck with that mission. is issue also includes our usual guest columnists along with some new ones. ere are, as usual, many articles of interest that will appeal to everyone's taste.
